It's difficult to give examples of moderate keyword competition that would make sense however a basic rule of thumb is, if there are less than 100,000 websites returned for your keyword phrase it is low competition, if there are between 100,000 and 1,000,000 pages resulting for your phrase then you are in some level of moderate competition. This is not always the case, we have seen competition with 20,000 pages in Google that were highly competitive and others with over 3,000,000 pages resulting in Google with low to moderate competition.

Examples of high competition phrases would be "seo services " (simply based on the companies targeting it), "real estate", or an extremely generic phrase such as "hotels". As noted above, a good rule-of-thumb is if there are over 1,500,000 web pages listed in Google for your phrase then it is likely that it is highly competitive.
  These packages are for people who want to target these phrases and keep them. We will come up with a solid strategy to attain these rankings which may involve a staged-promotion in which we target a slightly less competitive but related phrase to attain a good ROI part way into the promotion and then continue working on the primary targeted phrase.
